Me processing my anxiety looks something like:
I don’t have a post today because I’ve been busy writing. I think it’s probably going to be a while before I have space to fit more drawing in, so let’s call this the end of Mind Bits season two.
I’ll see you when I feel inspired to draw season three!
The greeting I get most mornings. Usually followed by a lovely pause, and then “Food?!”
Another one from last year, built on the prompt: “Helpless” – though I don’t think the poem feels helpless at all. Kind of the opposite, really.
I wrote this one last year when I was in a bit of a dark place, but I still think it’s a beautiful (if sad) poem. Enjoy.
Great news! I’m novel writing again! I don’t want to drop Mind Bits, but I’ve only got an hour free a day so I’ve got to be judicious in how I use it. For the next few weeks, I’ll be posting my visual poetry. I wrote this one last year, but never shared it. Hope you enjoy!
Thoughts on the kind of activist I want to be.
We all have something to offer. Be brave, be honest, be you.
